Massage Therapist & Pilates Instructor
Caroline Sanders is an integrative body worker specializing in Pilates and Massage Therapy. As a massage therapist, Caroline integrates multiple techniques to address your body specifically and holistically. Her intention is to always honor your comfort and tolerance while facilitating relaxation and rejuvenation.
Caroline is a third-generation, comprehensively trained Pilates instructor in the lineage of Romana Kryzanowska. She discovered The Pilates Method while completing her B.S. in Anthropology and fused her personal practice with cultural studies of medicine and therapy, leading her to believe in the tremendous benefits that fitness, bodywork, and healing arts can have on individuals and community.
Her teaching emphasizes the structural, muscular, and energetic elements of movement, which are all utilized to help clients engage with their center, their breath, and their mind-body connection. Caroline’s classes not only challenge clients to deeply work their muscles and develop flexibility of their spine, but also to become students of their own bodies and embrace freedom of movement. In a session with Caroline you can expect to move mindfully as well as receive skilled hands on guidance informed by massage therapy techniques such as neuromuscular therapy, Thai massage, and cranio-sacral treatment.
Caroline is most excited to offer Pilates and massage therapy to her clients, providing integrated bodywork to help them return to optimal feeling and function in body and mind.
